On March 21, Dai Duong Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company officially started construction of the Cau Dat Wind Power Project.

The Prime Minister has agreed to supplement An Tho wind power project (phase I) with a capacity of 200 MW into Adjusted National Power Development Planning (PDP+). This is a largest wind power project in Vietnam so far. 

The Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee has granted the decision on investment policy for Dai Phong Investment Development Joint Stock Company to invest in Dai Phong Wind Power Project (phase 1), in Thien Nghiep commune, Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

In the framework of working visit of Government team to Ninh Thuan province on August 26-27, 2016, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has issued an order to start construction of Trung Nam Wind Power Project.

On Feb 24, at Truong Long Hoa commune, Duyen Hai town, (Tra Vinh province),  the Tra Vinh 1 Wind Power Company Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony of Korea-Tra Vinh Wind Power Project – WPP (stage 1).

On November 28, 2021, in An Thuy commune, Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province, Ben Tre Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company held a ceremony for inaugurating the V1-3 Ben Tre Wind Power Project (WPP). V1-3 WPP is the first wind power project put into commercial operation in Ben Tre province.

On October 11, 2020, in Vinh Thinh commune, Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province, Bac Lieu Hacom Energy Joint Stock Company held a ceremony for starting up Hoa Binh 5 largest on-shore wind power project (phase 1) in the Mekong River Delta (Mekong Delta).

Truong Thanh Vietnam Group in consortium with Sermsang Power Corporation Public - SSP (Thailand) held a starting ceremony for constructing V1-2 wind power project (WPP) with a capacity of 48 MW in Truong Long Hoa commune, Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province.

On May 05, 2019, in Hanoi, Enterprize Energy Group and Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) held a workshop on supplementing Thang Long wind power project into the National Power Development Planning (PDP) for the period of 2011-2020, with a vision up to 2030.

On December 07, 2018, in Hanoi, Enter-prize Energy Pte. Ltd (EE)Investor in cooperation with Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) held a workshop on “Ke Ga off –shore wind power farm – a new breakthrough for economy of Vietnam”.

Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has  approved a Decision for 3 investors to develop Hiep Thanh wind power project including 18 - 19 wind turbines with a total capacity of 78MW and investment of VND 3,370 billion in Hiep Thanh Commune, Duyen Hai Town. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2020.

On January 22, 2018, in Thuan Bac and Ninh Hai districts (Ninh Thuan province), TSV Join Stock Company and The Bule Circle Corporation (Singapore) held a ceremony for starting construction of the second phase of Dam Nai wind project.

Ha Long Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company (HALCOM) and Central Region Wind Power Joint Stock Company have just broken ground of Phuong Mai 3 wind power project (phase 1).

Trung Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Trung Nam Group) and Trung Nam Wind Power Joint Stock Company have signed EPC contract for wind power  project in Ninh Thuan province. The EPC package for construction and installation of the project also has been signed. The equipment suppliers for the project are Green Comos (India) and ENERCON Group (Germany).
